This project focuses on developing an information system for the management of forecasts for the Planning Department of the Spanish electrical utility Endesa. The system has a client-server architecture based on an Oracle database server. Client applications include a system for collecting and exchanging information among the different business areas, a scenario configuration module for selecting the information to be used for in the forecasting process, and the main forecasting module.
